BACKLINE: 2 x VOX AC30's and a 1964 VOX T60 Transistor 60w head and 1x15", 1x12" matching cabinet. Acoustic 1 x 12" cab sited with front monitors.

MONITORS (FOLDBACK): 4 floor units minimum (one per group member) 1 x Calsbro Cobra acoustic guitar monitor

VOCAL MICS 3 front vocal mics required (tambourine stage right)

PA availability from 1000 watts up to 20,000 watts depending on venue size, shape and capacity.

Sound mixing/engineering equipment may be positioned stage-side in smaller venues.

In general the above matrix can be used for evaluation.  It can be used to provide an initial breakdown of the hazards into categories.  The darker shading identifies where it will be more than likely the risks are not adequately controlled.

 

The non-shaded areas where the risk ratings are low can be usually considered as minor risks.

The hazards that are shaded which are below the lower double line can be considered as adequately controlled risks.

The hazards which have risk ratings between the two double lines need to be examined against current standards and a decision needs to be made as to whether they are adequately controlled or not adequately controlled.

All hazards which are above the top double line must be considered as not having adequate control measures in place.  All hazards with a risk rating that appears in the shaded area are considered as High Risk and operations need to be suspended or control measures introduced immediately.

        • Lifts will be planned and if necessary additional help will be sought.
        • Adopt a good posture – bend from knees.
        • Ensure good grip/keep shoulders level/face shoulders in same direction as hips/keep arms in boundaries of shoulder where possible.
        • The load will be kept as close to the lifter as possible

The Kinx Requirements (as per                        contract requests)

 

 

·        Please see attached Method Statement, Risk Assessment and Risk Examination sheets.

·        We (The Kinx) require the use of 4 x 240volt single phase standard sockets producing a constant mains supply to be provided by ……………………… in a safe manor and positioned at the rear of the stage area as per Stage Plan.

·        Any generator supplying these sockets MUST be refuelled prior to the Kinx performance so to not cause a disruption of the supply during the performance and to prevent damage to The Kinx equipment.

·        The Kinx will be supplying for their own use only 2 x 30Watt Vox AC30 guitar amplifiers 1 x Carlsbro Cobra acoustic guitar amplifier and 1 x Vox T60 Bass Amplifier.

·        The Kinx will be supplying for their own use only all their own instruments including Guitars, Basses and Drum Kits

·        All PA equipment is to be supplied by …………………………………….. and must be suitable and fit for purpose.

·        Please see the attached Channel Plot and Stage Plans

·        An invoice will be supplied by The Kinx on completion of the performance.

·        The Kinx are members of the Musicians Union and provide our own Musicians Union PLI (see attached).
